Terms and Conditions

Complete Grooming Includes: Anal glands checked Bathing in professional shampoo to suit your breed of dog. Conditioner if required. Blow dry. Clipping, trimming, scissoring & styling. Nails trimmed. Ears checked, cleaned & plucked. Finished with doggy cologne.
 
Glands: We attend to anal glands during your dogs groom. If your dog suffers from infection, impacted glands or has had them removed please inform us. In certain circumstances we may ask you to take your dog to the vets to have thier anal glands treated.
 
Nails: Nails need to be trimmed every 4-8 weeks depending on what surface you walk your dog on. If left too long it can become painful, rip furniture, scratch floors, make walking difficult and cause deformaties. We can only clip down as far as the quick will allow us to. If your dog gets stressed or aggressive we will stop trimming immediately and advise you to take your dog to the Vets.
 
Allergies: If your dog has any allergies, please bring your own veterinary prescribed shampoo or we will  use our own range of hypo-allergenic shampoos. We can not be held responsible if your dog has a reaction to the products we use if you dont inform us that your dog has an allergy before we start grooming.
 
Matted Dogs: Please notify us if your dog is matted as it may take us longer to remove matted hair and may require a longer than normal appointment time. We only humanely, matted dogs may require shaving the coat completely off to prevent suffering. Be aware matted coats can lead to skin irritations and problems and the groomer will not be held responsible fro underlying skin issues cause by matted hair.
 
Fleas: Please notify us if your dog has fleas. As we will have to de-flea our salon afterwards to prevent them spreading to other dogs. Please ask about the range of fles treatment available for sale.
 
Aggressive Dogs: Please inform us if your dog is aggressive before being groomed  as you are obliged by law to inform us of any aggression as if the dog causes damage legal action may be taken. Aggressive dogs will be muzzled. It may take us longer to groom an aggressive dog and may require a longer than normal appointment time. We reservethe right to turn away any dog showing extreme agression proving a risk to itself or our staff.
 
Shampoo and Dry: We can offer a bath and brushout to keep on top of grooming between appointments to prevent matting and to keep your dog looking and smelling great. Please ask for details and prices.
 
Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancelling appointments. If inadequate notice is given a fee will be charged of £10 on your next booked appointment. We do not charge for appointments with adequate notice.

Payment methods: We accept Credit/Debit cards. Please note there is a 50p charge added to Credit card payments, no charge on Debit card. From the 1st of September 2013 we will no longer accept cheques as a form of payment, we accept cash and Credit/Debit cards.

Picture/photos: We may take photos of your dog and display them on our facebook page or website page. If you prefer us not to use your dogs photos please inform us.
